FULL CREAM BOARD & UTENSIL BUTTER

Our Full Cream Board Butter is designed to prolong the life of your boards, blocks, wood toys, and kitchenware by forming a superior surface barrier between foods & fluids, and the woods grain.  Board ‘butter’ is so named for its butter-like creamy consistency.
 
This formulation of Beeswax, Mineral and Tung Oil, results in a smoother, longer lasting buttery complexion, where straight mineral oil may dry unevenly in the short term, leaving a comparatively patchy and ashen look.
 
BARRIER (BOARD) OIL V’s BOARD BUTTER: Whilst both our Barrier Oil and Board Butter contain Beeswax and Tung Oil for their repelling and protective properties, Board Butter is designed to penetrate & condition the wood with the oil content, and further seal and protect the surface, with a higher Beeswax content.  Board butter is of a creamy consistency, where Barrier Oil has much more of a fluid consistency.
 
We’ve added the right amount of Tung Oil as a true Drying Oil and as a further protective & preventative barrier against fluid absorption and marking, giving this Board Butter a superior effectiveness, compared to the Mineral, or any oil alone.
 
Board Butter will dry faster and harder on the surface, than Mineral oil, simply because of the higher Tung Oil and Beeswax content.  Board Butter also has a slightly higher sheen too.
 
They both provide excellent protection and conditioning for wood.
 
Either are very easy to maintain.
 
Neither should see the inside of a dishwasher!
