Easily applied over oiled, shellacked, varnished, new, or previously treated surfaces with 0000 wire wool or a cotton cloth. Quick dry.
 
Beeswax and the combination of beeswax and gum turpentine have been used for centuries, to this we've infused our furniture polishes with Carnauba and Microcrystalline wax, to provide a higher sheen and a more water-proof and resilient protective finish, and in doing so, restoring the timbers warm natural glow.
 
The Gum Turpentine combined with our new Cedar based essence, delivers a rich aromatic woody fragrance.
 
Antique doesn’t mean a compromise to the level of sheen, and will add a light/golden hue to light woods and a similar in-fill to slight grain undulations in darker wood. Despite its appearance in the tin (looking a bit like a failed cake mix!), the darker Antique wax will not tint your furniture or timber unnecessarily, but it will darken new or unsealed work, open grain or porous areas, so always test first on a waste piece or on an out of sight area.
 
Applied to Antique patina, redwoods or dark woods, Restorers Antique will add depth and a striking sheen to the piece.
 
Restorers Premium Wax Furniture Polish is suitable for all timbers, and furniture. Often the choice of restorers and polishers of antiques.  Does not contain Linseed Oils.
